Greg is working closely with existing and future customers to help create a safer, more effective and predictable care environment for patients. Greg came to PeraHealth from PerfectServe, a clinical communications company, where he served as chief operating officer. PerfectServe has maintained 100 percent client retention of enterprise relationships throughout its history of serving clients. Previously, he was senior vice president and general manager of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions’ TouchWorks EMR Division, where his team focused on serving their client base as they engaged in Meaningful Use regulatory compliance, ICD10 conversions, and increased clinician workload. Greg also served in various domestic and international leadership roles at Cerner Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The University of Alabama.
Michael Rothman, PhD
We started PeraHealth to prevent another family from suffering from an avoidable death. But we also realized that we had discovered a way to actually view the physiology of disease progression and that this could be a tool to significantly accelerate medical research.

Michael Rothman co-founded PeraHealth in 2005 with his brother Steven, following the avoidable death of their mother, Florence.
His career began at IBM’s General Technology Division, after he earned his PhD in quantum chemistry. At IBM, he worked in optimization, mathematical modeling, and data analysis; work that led to a doubling of memory chip yields for mainframes. Michael also spent time at IBM’s T. J. Watson Research Labs, in the AI department, engaged in research in machine learning.
Michael is a natural interpreter of information. As a manager and executive consultant for the IBM Consulting group, his duties included translating mathematical results into effective business strategies for major banks and financial institutions. Later, as Senior Vice President for Strategic Information at First USA Bank, Michael established a database to better determine customer preferences.
In 2000, he founded Michael Rothman & Associates to focus on data analysis and product development through consulting, patent filing, and joint ventures. Projects have included developing a system generating customized discharge forms for hospitals, helping determine cash flow and profitability for a pharmaceutical company’s newly introduced drugs, and pro bono work analyzing mortality data for a guide dog school.
Michael earned an ScB and ScM in Chemistry from Brown University, and went on to earn a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan.
I was drawn to the patient-specific mission at PeraHealth as well as the passionate group of people working tirelessly to generate better patient outcomes. The Rothman Index, like no other tool in healthcare, provides real-time data at the right time to generate better patient outcomes.
As Chief Revenue Office at PeraHealth, Kyle Caple ensures that more hospitals have the opportunity to apply the Rothman Index to provide a safer, more efficient, and predictable patient care environment. His expert team drives revenue growth and aligns sales and marketing for customer success. Kyle came to PeraHealth with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including eight years as Chief Growth Officer at T System, Inc., an emergency department information system and coding company. While there, Kyle helped lead a successful $200M transaction with Fidelity National Financial. He has also held strategic roles at Cerner Corporation. Kyle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University.
After spending 20 years in the analytics space, I understand how hard it is to develop meaningful metrics. The way the Rothman Index is able to boil down the complex amount of disparate data that describes a patient’s well-being into an easily understandable score is simply amazing.
With more than 25 years in technology and healthcare, Brad has proven that thoughtful leadership is key to building world class products. Products that deliver real value and make measurable improvements in patients’ lives. Brad has held leadership positions in multiple healthcare companies, such as Premier, Inc. and Allscripts, as well as FDA regulated medical device companies, including Johnson & Johnson and Monarch Medical Technologies. Recent focus has been on technologies in the data science space, utilizing machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data techniques to build products that deliver in ways unimaginable just a few years ago. Brad has degrees from Virginia Commonwealth and Duke Universities.

Joseph Beals, PhD
Joseph leads the integration of research and analytics functions across the organization to shape strategy and help product management, account management, and sales to drive growth. He has broad experience leading the commercialization of innovative technologies. Prior to joining PeraHealth, he spent time at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics and at the Fraunhofer Center for Manufacturing Innovation.
Joseph has published articles in diverse fields, including medical predictive analytics, quantum electrodynamics, opto-electronics, neural-engineering, and fluid mechanics, and holds a patent in high-bandwidth optical data routing. He holds an ScB from Brown University, an MBA from Carleton University, and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he was a National Science Foundation Research Fellow.
I was drawn to PeraHealth after reading the Rothmans’ story and learning about the Rothman Index. Their story resonated with me after caring for my mother until she passed in 2013. I feel fortunate to be part of a team at the intersection of technology and saving lives.
Jim has over 30 years of experience, primarily in the technology and life sciences industries. His background includes 20+ years in various audit, tax, and consulting roles in the public accounting sector and 10 years of CFO and controllership roles for private and publicly traded companies.
Previously, Jim was an audit shareholder and Technology and Life Science Practice Group Leader for Elliott Davis, PLLC (a leading Southeast regional accounting firm). Jim is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is a CPA licensed in North Carolina.
I am proud to be a part of PeraHealth where every person is able to positively affect care delivery for our partners through the work they do developing, delivering, and supporting our products and services. Kristi leads all aspects of customer product implementations and support. She also works closely with PeraHealth’s account management, clinical services, and sales teams to help our partner hospitals improve care delivery. She received her BS from Clemson University in Clemson, SC, and her MBA with a focus in eBusiness from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Ritch is Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified and has over 35 years of experience working directly with healthcare organizations implementing and supporting various system technologies and helping develop and deliver overall eBusiness strategies.
With machine learning at the peak of inflated expectations, it's rare that you find a solution that can live up to the hype. The Rothman Index is one of those solutions, and witnessing the real-world impact that it has in driving positive clinical outcomes is incredible.
Chris leads the engineering team and ensures that we're delivering high-quality products in an efficient and responsive manner. He also works closely with product management to ensure that we're delivering the right products. Prior to PeraHealth, he worked at Epic Systems where he was recognized as an internal expert in population health.
Chris received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, and is currently pursuing a MS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with a concentration in A.I and Machine Learning.
As a nurse, I appreciate the close collaboration between PeraHealth’s clinicians and software developers. In my role, I’m able to carry that relationship over to our customers and make sure we’re designing effective solutions that meet the needs of hospital leaders and care teams…and that we maintain those relationships through ongoing support.
Stuart Ramsey is Vice President of Customer Success at PeraHealth and is responsible for ensuring strong partnerships, adoption, and utilization of solutions and services, while demonstrating value to our customers and company.
Stuart is a master’s-prepared Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of healthcare experience spanning patient care delivery, quality improvement, and hospital leadership. In addition, Stuart is an experienced healthcare consultant for large complex hospital systems generating clinical and financial success for customers. He is highly proficient at building and leading teams to ensure program success demonstrated through value and ROI to all customers served.
I truly enjoy building excitement and customizing our software in person at the hospitals we serve. Our team of clinicians and technical staff hits the ground running and integrates the Rothman Index into each hospital’s existing clinical workflow while we form personal customer relationships to provide ongoing support.
Ellen leads the Professional Services team at PeraHealth. This team works with customers after contracting signing, through the implementation process, and supports customers after go-live. Ellen has over 20 years of experience implementing and supporting software solutions for healthcare entities. Prior to joining PeraHealth, she managed projects with Atrium Health’s Advanced Data Analytics team and McKesson where she managed several teams, including Implementations and Development. She earned a Masters of Business Administration/Masters of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University.
It is an absolute privilege to promote a digital health solution that is clinically validated and enhancing patient care every day. We are trailblazers in the clinical surveillance space and have a great story to tell.
Gavin leads the marketing team to enhance brand recognition and communicate the value of the PeraHealth platform to the healthcare community. He works closely with sales and business development to understand customer needs, which then drive strategic company initiatives. Bringing over a decade of medical device, biotech, and healthcare experience to the PeraHealth organization, Gavin is passionate about the digital health space and specializes in building agile high-performance teams.
Prior to joining PeraHealth, Gavin was the marketing lead for the life sciences practice at Kalypso, a digital innovation consulting firm. Before that, he was the executive director of marketing for SonaCare Medical, a startup medical device company in Charlotte, NC. Gavin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and Master’s degree in Global Innovation Management from North Carolina State University, and an MBA from Université Paul Cézanne (France).

Tracee joined PeraHealth as Controller in 2018 and reports to the CFO. She is responsible for the delivery of finance services such as accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. She has over 10 years of accounting and finance experience, most recently serving as Corporate Accounting Manager with Premier, Inc, a publicly held healthcare improvement company, dedicated to Supply Chain segments consisting of Direct Sourcing and Group Purchasing Services. Prior to Premier, Tracee was the Controller of a copay assistance program in the not-for-profit business unit at Lash Group, a subsidiary of AmerisourceBergen, also a publicly held company in the healthcare industry. She is passionate about helping to carry out a mission to improve lives and advance healthcare. She is a CPA and graduated with a BBA in Information Systems from Georgia College & State University.
I enjoy working with people that have a variety of backgrounds and skills but are all pushing toward the same goal. The PeraHealth team is similar to a hospital team that way, and that’s why I think we relate so well to our customers and can speak their language. We have that same feel, with the edge of a high-tech software development environment.
Jennifer O’Donnell manages human resources and recruiting for PeraHealth. She helps build and maintain a unique blend of well-integrated clinical, technical, and creative team members that provide customers healthcare technology to improve patient care. Prior to joining PeraHealth, Jennifer worked on strategic HR global projects at Sealed Air, where she managed a system implementation in 54 countries. She earned a Master of Health, Exercise, and Sport Science from The Citadel. She has also earned her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
