Western Maryland Health System and Yale New Haven Health Win Rothman Index Awards for Information Technology Excellence

PeraHealth has announced the 2019 Rothman Index Award winners, bestowing the honors on hospitals and individuals who have used the Rothman Index to improve clinical outcomes, implement innovative technology applications, and author peer-reviewed publications. PeraHealth presented the awards as a Day 1 finale for the TRENDS 2019 Rothman Index Customer Conference in Baltimore on September 26.

The Rothman Index Award for Information Technology Excellence is presented to organizations whose IT department exhibited excellence and dedication through the Rothman Index implementation process.

Western Maryland Health System has recently been in the process of implementing the Rothman Index and dramatically exceeded the standard Technical Implementation timeline. The collaborative culture at this organization will guarantee adoption and will provide its patients with quality outcomes.

Yale New Haven Health continues to strive for new ways to use the Rothman Index across the health system. This commitment is evidenced by adoption of Rothman Index Mobile technology. This hospital system has been using RI Mobile to expedite action for the clinically deteriorating patient. The Yale New Haven Health ITS team demonstrates a consistent high level of efficiency, professionalism, and proficient approach when collaborating with PeraHealth on implementation projects.
